My Latest Wardrobe Addition

I have been searching for a decent pair of boots for the last couple and months and finally decided to go with these:

I know, ECCO is not exactly known to make the most appealing shoes in the world, but I still fell in love with this particular model (and were able to buy them with a 50 % discount).

I originally wanted to get a pair from ASOS but the I think they have taken the military trend a step too far. I like the fact that I am still able to wear the ECCO boots to work without looking a soldier from the second world war…
The boots can be purchased from this site.

Powerful Portraits

I am not much of a color person, but even I can't deny that the portraits of Francoise Nielly are delicious to look at.
The palette knife becomes a powerful tool in the hands of the French painter.
Francoise Nielly grew up in the South of France but now lives and works in Paris. Where most artists are inspired by the calm countryside, Francoise Nielly draws all of her energy and inspiration from the urban enviroment and the big crowds in Paris, Vancouver and New York.

Her interpretation of the light in the pictures that inspires her paintings and the amazing color combination, makes her portraits one of a kind.

Watch her paint in this French interview and see for yourself how the master works.

This years ideal Christmas gift by Burberry

Burberry army watch

Inspired be the epic Lum-Tec Combat B4, Burberry has reinterpreted the classic army watch, and with great succes.
The result is a timeless watch, with a webbing strap and oversize hands.
The serrated edge contributes to army feel of it and gives the watch a masculine look.
It's prices at $495, which I think is a fair price for a work of art carved in stainless steel.
The watch is Swiss made and is water resistant to 100m.

The watch can be purchased at Burberry website and will be, if the gods are with me, is under my Christmas tree.
